At school I really liked astronomy. Then I even assembled a telescope from drawings, using cardboard, wallpaper and lenses that I bought in an optical store.
Once, in an astronomy lesson, I asked the teacher whose light the satellites reflect when they fly over the Earth in the dead of night in winter.
The teacher could not answer and got very angry with me. Then I thought that they were not telling me something, or they just did not know.
And what do you think, whose light do the satellites reflect at night?
W. B. Yeats, 1899
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
